Welcome to Sanner's Lake Sportsman Club. Sanners Lake Sportsman Club was founded in 1951 by a group of sportsmen. The goal of the club is to provide a safe place for individuals to practice the safe handling of pistols, rifles, and shotguns as well as providing a family-oriented environment with other activities such as swimming and fishing. Any Non-Member attending a club event must fill out a hold harmless form that will be available at the event or the front gate or for download below. Complete the form, tear off the receipt (must be carried while on club grounds by guest), and place the form in the "Completed Form" box at the front gate. Range Closures Saturday March 27th - Entire facility closed for club work day. Monday March 29th - Rifle and Pistol ranges closed for range work. Tuesday March 30 - Rifle and Pistol ranges closed for range work. Saturday June 26 - All ranges closed until 3 pm for DU Greenwing event. Club Membership 2010-11 Membership is now closed. Be safe, follow the club rules and enjoy your shooting. Rimfire Matches .22 Rimfire Silhouette Matches return to Sanner's Lake. Matches on July 18, Aug 15, Sept 19 and Oct 17. Speed Limit While on club property, please abide by the following: - Speed limit from Great Mills Road to Skeet Range Road is 20 mph - Speed limit past the Skeet Range Road is 10 mph Members are responsible for asuring their guests adhere to these limits. 2010 Schedule Online The New Year is fast approaching and we all all anxiously antipating a fun filled year in 2010. Shooting events for Skeet, Sporting Clays, IDPA, 3-Gun, Black Powder Silhouette, and Black Powder Paper matches for 2010 are currently being added to the online calendar. and should be updated have been added to the online schedule. The Maryland State IDPA Championship Match will once again be hosted at Sanners Lake and is scheduled for April 29-May 1 2010. IDPA Classifiers will be held on 3 JAN, 24 APR, 11 JUL, and 23 OCT. The 2008 Deagle Grand will be held on the second sunday in October. Happy New Year & Happy Shooting. After Sunset Rules Reminder: No members are allowed on club grounds after sunset, except when in conjunction with a board approved event.
