http://www.idpa.com/Defensive pistol shooting as a sport is quite simply the use of practical equipment including full charge service ammunition to solve simulated "real world" self-defense scenarios. Shooters competing in Defensive Pistol events are required to use practical handguns and holsters that are truly suitable for self-defense use. No "competition only" equipment is permitted in IDPA matches as the main goal is to test the skill and ability of an individual, not his or her equipment or gamesmanship. http://www.nssa-nsca.com/If your looking for something to do that is both fun and challenging, come join us for Sporting Clays.  Matches are once per month, and the date of the next shoot can be found in the Schedule section of this site.  Matches start at 9:00am, and the shooters must be signed up by 1:00pm to shoot. Silhouette
Matches are held each 2nd Sunday on the Rifle Range beginning at 9:00AM. See the Sanner’s web site for program and match rules under the Shooting Sports header.

Paper Target
Matches are held each 4th Sunday on the Rifle Range beginning at 9:00AM. These matches are open to all muzzle loading rifles regardless of ignition or sight types. Paper targets are fired at 50 and 100 yards.
